Peregraf — A missile attack has struck bases belonging to the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) near Degala in the Erbil Governorate. This marks the first confirmed fatality among Kurdish opposition forces since the regional conflict escalated, as the war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran enters its fifth day.

One PAK Peshmerga was killed and three others were wounded in the strike, according to initial reports from the scene.

The Kurdistan Region has experienced intense bombardment in recent days, with more than 100 drones and missiles targeting multiple locations—primarily in Erbil—since the conflict began. These attacks have been attributed to Iran and armed factions affiliated with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a network of Iran-aligned groups operating within the country.

Late last night, the city of Sulaymaniyah was also targeted for the first time, although no casualties have been reported.

The latest strikes highlight a widening pattern of attacks directed at Iranian Kurdish opposition groups based in the Kurdistan Region, amid escalating tensions between Iran and its adversaries.
