Peregraf — Dana Gas, the UAE-based energy company operating the Khor Mor gas field in the Kurdistan Region, has announced the resumption of production at the facility following a period of intermittent operations in recent weeks.

The company said it carried out operational procedures throughout this period in coordination with government authorities, while prioritising the safety of personnel and assets.

Production at the Khor Mor field had been disrupted amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel against Iran, which led to a halt in operations at the site. The disruption adversely affected electricity generation across the Kurdistan Region and reduced gas supply to households.

The Khor Mor field is one of the most strategically significant energy sites in the Kurdistan Region. Operated by Dana Gas and its affiliate Crescent Petroleum, it supplies natural gas to major power stations in Erbil, Sulaimani, and Duhok.
