Peregraf — Drone and missile strikes attributed to Iran have killed at least three members of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the group said, underscoring continued violence despite an ongoing ceasefire.

In a statement, the PDKI said Iranian forces targeted its headquarters and civilian camps on Friday, April 17, in what it described as a new wave of strikes using drones and missiles.

The group said a father and son were among those killed. Shahin Azarbarzin was killed, while his father, Nader Azarbarzin, was seriously wounded.

In a separate strike targeting a group of Peshmerga, two female members of the party — Nada Miri and Samira Allahyari — were also killed, while several others were wounded.

The strikes come despite a two-week ceasefire announced on April 8 following a 40-day conflict in the US-Israel war on Iran.

In recent days, drone and missile strikes have continued across the Kurdistan Region, including attacks on opposition group bases and other locations, raising questions about whether the ceasefire has halted hostilities on the ground.
