Peregraf — A base belonging to the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) near Erbil was targeted in an Iranian drone attack on Friday morning, wounding eight Peshmerga, a party spokesperson told Peregraf.
"One of our headquarters was bombarded by the Iranian regime this morning, and eight of our Peshmerga were wounded," Khalil Nadri, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), told Peregraf.
Nadri said the attack targeted one of the party's headquarters near Erbil but did not provide further details about the condition of the wounded or the type of drone used.

The reported strike comes amid a sharp escalation in attacks across the Kurdistan Region. Coalition forces intercepted and destroyed eight explosive-laden drones over Erbil between 4:19 and 5:25 a.m. that morning, with no casualties or damage reported. Later that day, the Central Committee of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, led by Secretary-General Abdullah Mohtadi, said in an official statement that Iranian forces killed nine of its Peshmerga members in a missile strike on the party's facilities on the Zargwezela mountain slopes near Sulaymaniyah.
In a separate attack the same day, Komala of the Toilers of Kurdistan, led by Reza Kaabi, said Iranian strikes on its Surdash camp headquarters, the fifth such attack, wounded two of its Peshmerga, spokesperson Amjad Hussein Panahi told Peregraf.
There has been no immediate comment from Iranian authorities regarding the reported attack on the PAK headquarters.
